LIFE Cooperative strengthens with new board members
The LIFE Cooperative, the leading cooperative for the life sciences & health sector in Northern Netherlands, is taking a new step towards the future with the announcement of its new board composition. As of October 1st, LIFE Cooperative proudly welcomes two new members: Annelies Wolters, Director of Lode Holding, and Koos Koops, partner at Carduso Capital and former co-founder and CEO of Xendo. These new board members bring fresh ideas and energy to elevate the cooperative’s ambitions to the next level.
Annelies Wolters commented: "In the North, we have a wonderful innovative ecosystem, of which Lode Holding has been a part for years. I’m excited to contribute my expertise in medical technology to the board of LIFE Cooperative."
Passing the Baton
At the same time, the cooperative bids a heartfelt farewell to two key figures who played a significant role in its success. After a decade of dedicated service, Ton Vries, Head of Innovation & Technology at Symeres, and Johannes Wolters, CEO of Lode Holding, are stepping down. Their impact on the cooperative is undeniable and will continue to be felt in its ongoing activities.
Entrepreneurs first
In addition to these two experienced entrepreneurs, LIFE Cooperative is welcoming another familiar face. Ronald Hesse will enthusiastically take over as Director from Peter Ketelaar, who will now serve as a board member, ensuring that his experience and network remain within the cooperative.
“I’m thrilled to contribute to the ambitious goals of LIFE Cooperative in my new role as Director. From the start, I’ve been involved in the cooperative’s development through my role at Campus Groningen, working closely with entrepreneurs. I look forward to continuing this work and making the voice of the entrepreneur even more visible. The close connections with the campus locations in both the city and region present unique opportunities to enhance collaboration, create innovative networks, and develop facilities that drive us all forward,” said Ronald Hesse.
With this refreshed board at the helm, LIFE Cooperative is ready to pursue new plans and ambitions. The vision? To work together with all members towards a successful future marked by growth and innovation through collaboration.
