Queen Máxima opens the proton therapy centre of the University Medical Hospital Groningen (UMCG) on Friday June 8. Proton therapy is an innovative method of radiation for cancer patients. The UMCG is the first hospital in the Netherlands which offers this kind of treatment since January 2018.
