Campus Groningen Launches Third Edition of 'Place to Be' Job Market Campaign
The stories speak for themselves: Campus Groningen offers numerous opportunities for exciting internships and fascinating jobs for young professionals. This was evident again at the launch of the third edition of its job market campaign, 'Place to Be.' The campaign kicked off with a festive opening ceremony on Tuesday afternoon, June 4, at the Zernike Campus. At the heart of the campaign is an inspiring exhibition of ten large stands along Zernikelaan, each laden with stories that reflect the diversity and opportunities on the campus. The exhibition will be on display for two weeks.
Communications and community manager Amber van der Schaaf will give an inspiring speech during the opening ceremony. Regarding the campaign, she says: "'Place to Be' is not just a slogan; it's a way of life that highlights the dynamics and opportunities of Campus Groningen. It's an honor to share the stories of students and young professionals, and I believe this campaign will once again be a source of inspiration for many looking for a challenging career."

Thriving Hub
In addition to the exhibition at Zernike Campus, the 'Place to Be' campaign includes a magazine, a social media campaign, and a digital environment with more extensive stories. The ultimate goal of the campaign is to show students and young professionals that Campus Groningen is a thriving hub for finding great internships and job opportunities.
"By capturing the stories of these talented individuals, we want to emphasize the diversity and possibilities of Campus Groningen," says Van der Schaaf. "We aim to convey a message of empowerment and show that this truly is the 'Place to Be' for those looking to broaden their professional horizons."
Ultimate Dream Employer
From nurse Daniël Arents, who found his ultimate dream employer at the UMCG, to chemical analyst Marloes Holwerda, who works at DNV on solutions for important sustainability issues: the stories in this third edition of 'Place to Be' once again show that career opportunities at Campus Groningen are vast.
